STADIUM GLASS – YOUR QUALITY GLASS EXPERT
The best solar control glass under the sun.
When it comes to reducing solar heat gain from the blazing sun, LoĒ³-340 simply has no equal. And because it’s not tinted, you enjoy a number of other advantages as well. First, there’s the cost savings of no tint. Then you avoid the disadvantages of tinting: the potential for thermal stress breakage and the potential need to heat treat the glass.
Tinted glass has several other glaring deficiencies. Regular tinted glass works by absorbing sunlight, so the glass becomes hot in the sun. The color of the glass also changes with its thickness. On the other hand, LoĒ³-340’s appearance and performance remain the same regardless of glass thickness.
What’s more, LoĒ³-340 has a very high LSG (light to solar gain ratio) of 2.17. So even though solar gain is being controlled, plenty of visible light is still allowed inside. (NOTE: LSG based on 340/clear with 3mm glass thickness.)
Lost profits are unappealing to any window manufacturer, especially when due to warranty replacements caused by IG seal failure. Based on extensive research and experience, Cardinal estimates that the real cost for every glass unit a window company replaces is approximately $200.
This includes hard and soft costs for replacement windows, service calls, factory overhead, business disruption, and a damaged customer faith. At $200 per unit, how much could you and your channel partners be losing in the long run?
XL Edge insulating glass comes with the lowest failure rate in the industry – developed in part from Cardinal’s 50 years of experience in manufacturing IG units, with nearly 40 years utilizing a dual-seal silicone system.
We’ll back you up: XL Edge IG comes with a 20-year, 150% credit warranty. It’s like an insurance policy for your window business. No other IG manufacturer will offer such a guarantee.
